Bottom Call: 9/20/01. In 2001, I had the hottest message board at the heyday of SiliconInvestor.com...The #1 board for months..the hero emerges..everyone was wowed by my Elliott Wave abilities...I hung out at many boards, including Dr. Bob's, and "the other Elliott Wave board" learning as much as I could..I had just picked up "the book" and obsessively studied it day and night..to most people "The Elliott Wave Principle" book is "greek to them"..however, the book engaged me, and I was able to understand every word.. it was like it dropped in my lap for some divine reason...On Sept 20, 2001..I made this bottom call on the NASDAQ DOW and SPX, through fear, pain and tears....
I got my name on the map on this day...NASDAQ rallied from 1387 to 2100, I bought QLGC calls, and they went ballistic..like really ballistic...everybody saw it...notice the words on this post "a massive reversal could emerge" and "NASDAQ levels to watch are 1357-1419"...hundreds of people e-mailed me including eccentric millionaires and usually private wealthy traders...wanting to work with me, or ask me how I was able to forecast like this....soon after I launched gemxwave.com..it was incredible..hundreds of people subscribed the week it launched, many annually...
"My QQQ calls up +110% today woo hoo.. bought Jan 30 QLGC calls.." (QLGC was around 28 and ran to 52+ fast..)
Bottom Call 8/18/02...However..the bottom call on Sept 2001 didn't come to be...You'd think I couldn't adjust..nope..I adjusted, and boy did I adjust...I introduced the "tai chi titanium trading" level with e-mail trades...throughout this entire ordeal, as the NASDAQ trickled down every day with the Enron and Worldcom scandals..I traded...it was the $100,000 fantasy account...I became "tai chi the trader", and took advantage of the volatility...shorting was too easy..W1, W2, break of W1, bam..Wave 3..I discovered my "little pattern" that seemed to worked over and over again..the $100K fantasy account rose to 600% by the beginning of 2003, and many people were salivating...in Aug of 2002, I made "the right" Elliott Wave call on the bottom of the NASDAQ. In the chart, I predicted the exact month (and day) of the big Oct 2002 bottom in the NASDAQ, and the level...take a good look.
One of my targets was 1075 (NASDAQ dropped to 1108..we're at 2140+ currently), and I said that "it would make sense for the big bottom to occur on Oct 2002". On this chart below, here's where I used
"fibonacci number of days" to figure out (almost!) the exact day. I figured "34 days, Oct 9th." We got Oct 10 '02.
After I made up for the Sept 2001 call with this Elliott Wave prediction, the legend kept growing...
RMBS Trades. 1/29/03...How?..600%+ in less than a year? HOW?? Well, here's how..just one example..take a look at this picture..I traded about $225,000-$250,000 in 2-4 days with RMBS Jan 29-Feb 3..and made $80,000.00 on the tai chi (or called, the neotaichi account) in that small period of time..yes, 36% (72% with margin!)with just a stock in 2-4 trading days..I predicted with the Elliott Wave where it was headed, and with what subscribers called "a religious trading experience", I unconciously used "the pattern"...and proved, yes, I was a "master trader."
3RD WAVE CALL 3/19/02...GOLD AND XAU IS HOW. Well, this picture is a screen shot of the XAU..notice the level, and the target I called in it?
Yes, I called a huge 3rd wave on the XAU and IT HAPPENED. It was fun to trade gold stocks like NEM GG and GFI in 2002..they had serious beta in this W3...fun fun fun..when something goes down (The US Stock market, NASDAQ, SPX and DOW), something goes up..(XAU, gold and the HUI).
3RD WAVE AND BOTTOM CALL..2/05/03...After the "big bold bottom call" I made on the NASDAQ in Aug 2002, the NASDAQ dared me to make another one...but this one had something bigger...a Wave 3. During the uncertainty with the war, and many "other" Elliotticians calling NASDAQ 500 and DOW 2000, I made this call...yes, a Wave 3...I called a W2 bottom almost on the exact number, and yes, the W3 I called to 2100...it happened.. NASDAQ rallied from around 1254 to 2135+ after this call was made..
All when the NASDAQ was sitting around 1220-1252..take a good look...this was a fun Wave 3....oh the beautiful Wave 3's techs like YHOO MRVL and BRCM had..the beta...quite easy to trade when you get a large Wave 3 on a huge index like the NASDAQ.
BOTTOM CALL. 8/13/04..After NASDAQ got to around that 2100 level, it got sideways...and out came Mr. Prechter and his elliottwave.com crew on CNBC. Prechter showed up on CNBC in late July of around 2002, and was typical Prechter. He proclaimed something like "THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR, DOW 2000"..I don't remember exactly what he said, but it was a little..um..crazy lol...so..I responded on my website with this bottom call. On August Friday 13th 2004...after months of relentless downward action in the NASDAQ after hitting my 2100 target, I made another AMAZING and bold call...
I was looking for 1750 on Friday the 13th of August as a bottom before the bull market resumes.. Guess what happened? On Friday the 13th of August, NASDAQ hit 1751(!!!) before the rally we've seen recently...On the EXACT DAY AGAIN!! And more astonishingly almost the exact number!! Prechter..take THAT. NASDAQ rallied from 1751 to around 2198!
I hate oil prices like everybody, but it was reality time. Anyway, when crude was $52 a barrel, I made this call in the intraday forum at gemxwave.com. I said $60, than $44-$45 in a W4, and a rally to $72 and as high as $80-ish. Guess what happened. It rallied from $52 to around $61, dropped to $44-$45 and rallied to the high of $72 that we saw recently..
After hitting 2198 in late 2004/early 2005...the "C" wave in the Wave 2 zigzag on the 3 year chart of the NASDAQ formed...again... called the bottom on this one...it was a pretty clear zigzag so it wasn't all that difficult..In this chart...I was looking for:....zigzag...and 1910..we got around 1897 before the rally to 2219 in August of this year....
